Marvin Martin was born in Paris on 10 January 1988. Earlier performed the famous FC Sochaux but currently plays for Lille OSC as a midfielder.
His football career started from small Parisian clubs. For instance Montrouge CF was one of them. In 2004 the player entered Sochaux youth academy and after graduation he signed a contract with the club. The midfielder made his debut in the major squad on 30 August 2008 in the league match against Marseilles. On 13 May of the following year he scored his first goal against AS Monaco FC. By the end of the 2010/11 season Marvin was named the best assistant.
In 2011 Martin was called up to represent his country. On 6 June of the same year he made his debut for the France national football team and excelled in the match against Ukraine by scoring two goals.
