Massimiliano Ammendola is a halfback, born on 15 May 1990 in Pollena Trocchia, Italy.
Massimo’s youth career started in the early 2000s. As a boy Massimo took part in an exhibition match which was attended by the coaching staff of Napoli youth academy. Ammendola impressed coaches with his performance and they agreed to sign him as a Napoli student. For quite a long time Massimo studied and honed his skills to star in the youth championship matches for Napoli.
In 2009 Massimiliano was promoted to Napoli senior squad and thus began his professional career. The club signed Massimiliano in the hope that in time he will become a key midfielder but in 2009 Partenopei just wanted to own the rights to him. In the same year Massimo was loaned out to Crociati Noceto where he featured in only 3 matches during the entire season.
In 2010 Massimo continued his career as a loaned player at Aversa Normanna. In the 2010/11 season Massimiliano rarely appeared on the field for the Campania club.
After returning to Napoli Ammendola continued to earn experience and learn from the older players of Napoli. In 2012 he switched to Botev Vratsa and later on to Iraklis. In the summer 2014 Ammendola joined a Paraguayan side Sol de America.
