Massimo Paci plays as a defender for Siena. He was born on May 9, 1978 in Fermo, Italy.
In 1997 Paci started his professional career in Ancona, where he spent one season. During this time the young footballer appeared on a football field only in 8 matches. In the summer 1998 the defender moved to the Turinese club Juventus but he never played for this team.
In the summer 1999 Massimo accepted the proposal to join Ancona because he expected to earn a place in the staring eleven. In the 1999/2000 season the defender scored one goal in 11 matches for Ancona. In the summer 2000 Juventus decided to return its former player and signed one more contract with Paci. This time he managed to play more successfully kicking 2 goals in 45 matches for two seasons.
Massimo Paci didn’t have career prospects in Juventus so he decided to sign a permanent contract with Ternana in order not to lose the opportunity of game practice. For two seasons Massimo was one of the key players of this team, where he scored 2 goals in 65 matches.
In 2004 Paci signed a contract with Lecce, where he spent the 2004/2005 season and kicked one goal in 12 games. In the summer 2005 the footballer joined Genoa but he never played for this team and was immediately loaned to Ascoli. The 2005/2006 season was a success for Massimo because he took part in 31 matches and scored 3 goals.
In 2006 the defender signed a permanent contract with Parma, where he spent the most successful stage of his career. Paci played in all the matches for Parma but he didn’t become the key player. However the head coach often included him in the starting eleven thus Massimo appeared in a football field 124 times and kicked 5 goals.
In the summer 2011 Massimo Paci joined the Italian club Novara. One year later he moved to Siena where he plays until now.
