Mickaël Tacalfred was born on 23 April 1981 in Colombes, France. He is a defender, who plays under number 20 for French club Reims. He is also the citizen of Guadeloupe.
Mickaël started his football career in one of the youth teams of his hometown. When he was 19, he made a move to the senior level. His first professional contract was penned with Red Star Saint-Quen for a term of one season, during which he made 17 appearances. In 2001, the defender moved to Martigues, where he featured in 28 fixtures. The following season was spent under Rouen’s and Angers’ colors. Since 2004, Tacalfred had a four-year spell at Dijon FCO amassing 128 appearances for the club. In 2008, Tacalfred joined Stade de Reims.
Mickaël Tacalfred has been capped for the Guadeloupe national team since 2007. He featured in 5 matches of the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup for the national squad.
