Miguel Ángel Ponce is a Mexican left back. Miguel was born on 12 April 1989 in Sacramento, the United States, however the footballer started the career in his parents’ homeland.
Having emerged through Guadalajara’s youth system, Ponce made his senior debut for one of the most famous Mexican clubs in a match against Cruz Azul in 2010. In September 2010 the defender kicked his debut goal in a game against Tigres.
In 2011 Ponce was first called up to the Mexico national U-23 team with which he won the 2012 Summer Olympics.
