Milan Jovanović is a defender of Red Star Belgrade. He was born on 21 July 1983 in Čačak, Serbia.
In 2000, Milan started his professional career in Borac Čačak and netted one goal in 26 fixtures for the club during two seasons. From 2002 till 2003, the footballer performed for Mladost Lučani, Železnik and Radnički Novi Beograd and fired three goals in 52 games during his spells.
In 2004, Jovanović sealed a deal with Romanian side Vaslui and found the net two times in nine matches for the team before completing a move to Universitatea Craiova.
In 2005, the defender returned to Serbia and signed for Radnički Niš, where he scored two goals in 33 fixtures during one year.
From 2006 till 2009, Milan played for Unirea Urziceni and Universitatea Cluj. In 2009, the footballer transferred to Rapid Wien and made nine appearances for the club before penning a contract with Spartak Nalchik, where he went on to net one time in 21 games during two seasons.
In 2012, Red Star Belgrade secured Jovanović’s services on a long-term deal.
From 2007, the defender has been capped 33 times for the Montenegro national squad.
