Mladen Bartulović is a midfielder of Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. He was born on 5 October 1986 in Kakanj, former SFR Yugoslavia.
Mladen started out his professional career at Hajduk Split in 2004. For two seasons he played an integral role in the midfield. During this period Bartulović managed to win the head coach’s confidence who was trying to give the young footballer as much game experience as possible.
The midfielder netted 3 goals in 44 appearances for the Croatian club, which he left in 2006 and headed for Ukraine. From 2006 to 2008 Bartulović competed for the Ukrainian Premier League side FC Dnipro, regularly appearing in the starting line-up. In early 2008, Mladen continued his career as a loan player at FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih. At the end of the first loan season, the club’s management desired to keep the player for another year, so Bartulović remained at Kryvbas till the summer of 2010. For two seasons Mladen made 57 outings with 12 goals.
In 2010 he was sent out on loan again, this time to Arsenal Kyiv. However, the midfielder had to spend most of the time as a substitute, finding the net two times in 14 appearances for the club. In 2011 Mladen once again went on loan to Kryvbas, where he regularly came out on the pitch. In the 2011/12 season, Bartulović earned 35 appearances and delivered 7 goals. Since 2013 Mladen has represented Karpaty Lviv.
During the period from 2005 to 2006, Mladen took part in 10 games of the Croatia U-21 squad scoring 1 goal. Since 2006 he has played 2 matches for the senior team.
