Moshe Abutbul is an Israeli midfielder, born on 11 August 1984.
Being mostly used in the center of the midfield, he can be equally effective on the right flank.
Moshe started his youth career at the FC Ashdod, immediately after finishing its youth football academy. Starting from 2001 he was heavily involved in the Ashdod’s youth squad fixtures. A year later Abutbul signed his first professional contract with his home club at the age of 19.
The player spent his first professional season with the FC Ashdod reserve team, before being sent on a loan to FC Hapoel Rishon LeZion. In 2006 he moved on loan to another Israeli club FC Hapoel Ra’anana, which he left in 2008 as a free agent.
Moshe’s next destination was FC Hapoel Ramat Gan, with which he signed a year deal. Despite quite a successful season with the club, he failed to get a contract extension and moved to the Israeli second division club FC Hapoel Ashkelon. Half a year later, the footballer was bought by FC Ironi Bat Yam, where he managed to show his best form, scoring 6 goals in 17 appearances at the beginning of the 2010/2011 season. So, there was no surprise, that such an illustrious performance caught the attention of football scouts.
As a result, Moshe clinched a deal with FC Ironi Nir Ramat HaSharon on 3 February 2011. There he continued to show his prolific form, becoming an indispensable first-team member. The player added 44 appearances and 7 goals to his career stats during his first 18 months at the club.
