Mouhamadou Dabo is a French footballer currently playing as a defender for Olympique Lyonnais in the Ligue 1. He was born on 28 November 1986 in Dakar, Senegal.
At the age of 14, Mouhamadou began to play football in the youth academy of prominent Saint-Étienne. In May 2005, he made his first-team debut for the club in a game against Toulouse. Dabo impressed during the match against giants Paris Saint-Germain in September 2008 as he scored a winning goal in a 1-0 victory of his team. Overall, he made a total of 115 league appearances for Saint-Étienne during a five-year stint.
In the 2010/11 Dabo had a short spell at Spanish Sevilla and then transferred to a French top-flight team Lyon where he plays today. In the 2011/12 campaign, he recorded the Coupe de France together with the club.
In the 2007/08 season, Mouhamadou Dabo earned 17 caps to the France U21 team. He got his first full cap in a match against Argentina in February 2009.
