Mustafa Amini. Biography

Mustafa Amini is an Australian midfielder currently playing for Borussia Dortmund II in Germany. He was born on 20 April 1993 in Sydney, Australia.

Mustafa spent his youth career playing for Blacktown City and AIS. In the 2010/11 season, he got off to a flying start of his professional career with Central Coast Mariners in the A-League. His strong performances sparked interest of big European clubs. Thus, a prominent Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund invited Amini on a trial and then signed him on a permanent deal in 2012. The Australian impressed during his debut game for Dortmund on 11 July 2012 as he scored a goal in a 2-1 friendly win over SV Meppen.

Mustafa Amini has featured for the Australia U17, U20 and U23 teams.
