Nathan Tyson is a forward, born on 4 May 1982 in Reading, England.
Nathan started his professional career in Reading after several years in the academy of the club. The footballer did not get an opportunity to perform for the main team at once, because he had to gain more experience. Tyson spent two years at the training ground and went on loan to Maidenhead United, where he netted three goals in eight fixtures during six months. In 2001, the forward completed a temporary move to Swansea City and fired one goal in 11 matches during his spell.
From 2002 till 2004, Nathan made occasional appearances for his parent club and performed on loan at Cheltenham Town and Wycombe Wanderers. The latter decided to secure the footballer’s services on permanent basis after his contract with Reading expired. Tyson showed stellar performance and amassed 39 goals in 68 games for the new team during two seasons.
In 2006, Nathan put pen to paper of a permanent contract with Nottingham Forest, which observed the footballer’s progress during his loan spell at their side. Tyson became the pivot of the club, which saw him score 33 goals in 176 fixtures during five years.
In 2011, the forward transferred to Derby County and found the net four times in 39 matches for ‘The Rams’ before being loaned to Milwall in 2013.
In September 2013 Tyson signed a permanent deal with Blackpool, but had loan spells with Fleetwood Town and Notts County. In the summer 2014 he switched for Doncaster Rovers.
