Ney Santos. Biography

A Brazilian footballer Uedson Ney dos Santos, aka Ney Santos, plays for Vitória de Setúbal. He was born on 23 February 1981 in Maruim.

He graduated from the academy of Confiança and got promotion to the main team. But his professional start can’t be named very successful, as the footballer wasn’t able to settle into any team for long time. He performed during short periods of time for various Brazilian clubs. Among them were Bahia, Coritiba, Sport Recife, Vitória, Atlético Paranaense, Joinville and América-RN.

In 2008, Ney moved to Portugal, where he joined Estrela da Amadora. Over the course of a season the footballer made 11 appearances and scored one goal.

In the summer 2009, a two-year contract was penned with Braga. His debut season with the new team was lined with more than 20 appearances. In 2010, Santos was loaned out by Vitória de Setúbal. He continues to perform for the temporary club.
