Nikolaos Spyropoulos is a football player from Greece, born in 1983. He began his professional playing career at PAS Giannina, where he stayed between 2001 and 2004 and then he switched to Panionios, thought shortly after that he was about to move to Panathinaikos, but was suspended for testosterone. Spyropoulos was suspended for two years nevertheless returned to play after a year.
In the winter transfer window of 2008 he joined Panathinaikos for a fee of €2 million and in the 2008/09 season he became a regular left back. Spyropoulos played for Panathinaikos until 2013, helped the team to win Superleague Greece in 2009/10 and the Greek Cup in 2010. At the start of 2013 he completed a move to the Italian side Chievo.
Spyropoulos earned his first cap for the Greece national team on 17 November 2007. That was a 5-0 victory against Malta.
