Nurbol Zhumaskaliyev is a Kazakh footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Tobol in the Kazakhstan Premier League. He was born on 11 May 1981 in Oral, Kazakh SSR.
At the early years of his professional career Nurbol played for such clubs as Akzhayik and Zhetysu. In 2000, he joined Tobol where his career really picked up steam. For ten years with the club Zhumaskaliyev collected the Kazakhstan Cup trophy and Intertoto Cup in 2007 and the Kazakhstan Premier League title in 2010. For his strong performances, he was awarded the Best Player of the year title thrice. Overall, Nurbol scored 127 goals in 300 league appearances for Tobol during a ten-year stint. After the 2011 season at Astana (Lokomotiv), Zhumaskaliyev moved to Tobol where he plays today.
Nurbol Zhumaskaliyev was a regular international for the Kazakhstan national team in between 2001 and 2011 amassing 54 caps for the period.
