Oded Gavish. Biography

Oded Gavish is a central defender for Hapoel Be’er Sheva. He was born on 23 June 1989 in Israel.

Gavish is a graduate of Maccabi Petah Tikva’s football academy. Prior to 2007 Oded played for various junior teams of the club.

Oded Gavish sealed his first professional deal with Maccabi Petah Tikva in January 2008. Gavish debuted in the Premier League during the very first season for the club. In 2008 Gavish was loaned to Maccabi Herzliya. The young central defender played for Second Division Herzliya for two seasons, totaling 47 appearances and three goals.

In July 2010 Oded Gavish transferred to Israeli Premier League Hapoel Be’er Sheva. Oded almost immediately got into the first team of the club and became Hapoel’s regular central defender. Since 2010 Gavish made over 70 appearances and scored over seven goals for the club.

In 2007 Oded Gavish was called up to Israel U-19, where he won five international caps.
