Oleksandr Rykun is a retired Ukrainian footballer. He was born in 1978 and began his professional playing career at FC Metalurh Novomoskovsk in 1995. In 1997 he moved to Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk and the following year switched to FC Metalurh Mariupol. In 2003 he re-joined Dnipro and stayed there until 2007. Then Rykun played for Metalist Kharkiv, in 2010 he had a short spell at Vorskla Poltava and after that he retired.
He earned 8 caps for the Ukraine national team and his debut was on 21 March 2002 in a friendly against Japan. Having retired from playing he works at Metalist Kharkiv.
