Oleksandr Sytnyk is a striker who currently plays for Hoverla Uzhhorod. He was born on 2 January 1985 in Vinnytsia, Ukrainian SSR.
In 2001 Oleksandr penned a professional contract with Dynamo Kyiv. From 2001 to 2008 he was a part of the reserve team. Sytnyk was often loaned out to Ukrainian clubs. Borisfen, Arsenal, Kharkiv and Metalurh were among them.
In 2008 Oleksandr left Dynamo for Zvezda Irkutsk. He spent half a year at the club, making 10 appearances and netting a goal. Sytnyk later moved to lllichivets Mariupol, where he played for the rest of the 2008/2009 season.
In 2011 Oleksandr Sytnyk signed for Zirka Kirovohrad and featured in 11 games, later terminating his contract with the side. The striker joined Hoverla Uzhhorod in the summer of 2011. During his 2011/2012 season at the club he took part in 35 games and netted 3 goals.
From 2003 to 2006 Sytnyk was called up to the Ukraine U21 squad.
