Oliver Norwood is a midfielder of Huddersfield Town. He was born on 12 April 1991 in Burnley, England.
In 2007, Oliver joined the academy of Manchester United and spent two years with ‘The Red Devils’ before penning his first professional contract.
In 2009, the footballer officially became a part of the main squad and started to train hard in order to reach the level of his legendary teammates. In 2010, Norwood went on loan to Carlisle United and made six appearances for the club during his spell. In 2011, he sealed a temporary deal with Scunthorpe United and netted one goal in 15 fixtures for the team before completing a loan move to Coventry City, where he fired two goals in 18 games during six months.
In the summer 2012, the midfielder put pen to paper of a long-term contract with Huddersfield Town and found the net three times in 27 matches for ‘The Terriers’ as of February 2013.
From 2006 till 2007, Oliver featured in 12 games and chipped in two goals for the England national U-16 and U-17 squads. From 2009 till 2012, the footballer took part in 19 matches and scored six goals for the Northern Ireland national U-19 and U-21 teams. From 2010, he has been capped nine times for the senior national squad.
