Omar Arellano is a Mexican forward. He was born on 18 June 1987 in Guadalajara, Mexico. The footballer is a product of Guadalajara’s youth system, however he began playing professionally with Pachuca.
Arellano made his senior debut in a game against América in 2004. He featured for Pachuca until 2007. Omar didn’t become a regular first team player, but he managed to show his true worth in the Copa Libertadores.
In 2007 Arellano joined Guadalajara. The forward established himself as a squad regular and notched 18 goals in 144 matches. When his contract expired, the footballer moved to Monterrey in 2013.
Since 2005 Omar Arellano has been featuring for the Mexico national squad.
