Oribe Peralta is a Mexican forward. He was born on 12 January 1984 in Torreón, Mexico. In 2003 the footballer began playing professionally with Monarcas Morelia, however he failed to secure a place in the starting line-up making only 2 appearances for this team.
In 2004 Peralta signed for Monterrey which is a top-rank Mexican club. All in all, the forward scored 11 goals in 68 matches for this outfit.
In 2006 Oribe sealed a long-term deal with Santos Laguna with which he won the Liga MX in 2008 and 2012. During the 2008/2009 campaign the footballer was on loan to Chiapas. From 2006 to 2014 he featured in more than 200 matches and scored 79 goals for Santos Laguna.
In the summer 2014 he moved to América.
In 2005 Oribe Peralta made his debut for the Mexico national squad. He’s the winner of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. In 2011 Peralta won the Pan-American games becoming the Best Striker of the tournament.
