Pablo Armero is a left back, born on 2 November 1986 in Tumaco, Colombia.
Armero’s professional career started in 2004 after he signed his first professional contract with América Cali. Pablo quickly rose to become one of the club’s key defenders. Since his debut season Pablo was made a regular and lived up to senior coach’s expectations as he was a good technical player and could embrace a halfback role if needed. During 4 years at América Cali Pablo played 108 matches and netted 6 goals.
In 2009 Armero moved to Brazilian Palmeiras, one of the best clubs in Latin America. During his debut 2009/10 season Pablo appeared in every match of the new club totaling 36 appearances and 1 goal.
In 2010 Armero signed his third professional contract with Udinese and got a long awaited opportunity to play pro European football. Since his debut season at Udinese Pablo has embraced the role of a regular left back totaling 61 appearances and 1 goal so far. In January 2013 he was loaned to Napoli till the end of the season. Upon completing the loan spell, Armero signed a permanent deal with the club.
In January 2014 Armero went to West Ham United on loan.
In the summer 2014 the player signed for Udinese.
Since 2008 Armero has been regularly called up to represent Colombia national team.
