An Uruguayan footballer Pablo Fernando Olivera Fernández plays as a striker for River Plate Montevideo. Olivera was born on 8 December 1987 in Melo.
In 2005, Pablo joined his hometown club Cerro Largo and his senior career began. His first years with the squad were lined with only rare appearances made. That’s why a decision to send him on loan came. In 2007, Fernando agreed on a temporary deal with Rampla Juniors. In 2008, the striker returned to his parent club, but in a year joined River Plate. In total, Pablo netted 16 goals in 47 matches for the Montevideo-based club.
In 2010, Olivera spent a year-long loan at the former club Cerro Largo. He racked up three goals in 13 games for the temporary side. In the summer 2012, the striker was sent on loan to Moreirense. Pablo debuted for the squad on 19 August 2012 in a match with Paços de Ferreira. His first goal for the temporary side was scored in a game against Olhanense, which took place on 27 October 2012.
