A Scottish footballer Paul Hanlon plays as a defender for Hibernian. He was born on 20 January 1990 in Edinburgh. He’s the member of the Scotland national youth team.
Paul began his junior career at the academy of Hutchison Vale. There he trained together with Danny Galbraith who would become his teammate in the future. Hanlon’s professional career started in 2008 at Hibernian, where he met Danny again. The defender’s debut happened on 12 January 2008. Paul was sent on loan to St. Johnstone immediately after his first appearance was made. He performed for the temporary squad during a season, after the spell came to an end the footballer was offered to extend the loan arrangement, but Paul decided to return to Hibs.
In 2007, Hanlon earned his first cap for the Scotland U-19 team. In total, he made 10 appearances from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, he was invited to play for the Scotland U-21 team.
