Peng Xinli was born on 22 July 1991 in Chengdu, China. Peng went in for football in his childhood. Despite being a thin person, the young footballer had outstanding abilities. The Chengdu Soccer Association sent Peng to study in Metz, France.
On his return Peng Xinli penned his first senior contract with Chengdu Blades. Xinli made his debut for this Chinese outfit in June 2008. The team’s coach tried to give the young promising footballer more playing time that’s why Peng often came on as a substitute. The footballer made 32 appearances for Chengdu Blades overall and found the net once.
In December 2011 Peng Xinli moved to Guangzhou Evergrande. Nowadays he keeps on playing for this club as a midfielder. In 2009 Peng Xinli was called up to the China U-20 national football team. He also participated in the 2010 AFC Championship qualification together with this team.
