Qin Sheng was born on 2 November 1986 in Dalian, China. In 1999 Qin moved to Shandong and joined Shandong Luneng where he acquired football skills and played for different youth teams of the club. However he failed to make it to the main team.
In 2005 Qin began playing professionally with Qingdao Jonoon. Qin Sheng was given a chance to get into the first team and made his league debut on 2 April 2005 coming on as a substitute. The footballer was gradually establishing himself within the squad and was delivering successful performance in the first team. After a dispute with the manager of the club in 2007, Qin lost favour in his team. In the next season Sheng was given another chance, when a new manager came to the team. However the player made only 8 appearances. All in all, Qin Sheng played 45 games for Qingdao Jonoon.
In September 2008 Qin Sheng moved to Jiangsu Sainty. Soon the player made his debut for his new team, and in October he kicked his first goal. For two years Qin scored 2 goals in 57 matches. In January 2011 Qin Sheng signed for Liaoning Whowin where he featured in 28 games. In January 2012 the footballer penned a contract with Guangzhou Evergrande. On 3 February Qin scored his debut goal in a match against CSKA Moscow. In 2012 the player won the Chinese FA Super Cup together with his club.
Now Qin Sheng continues his career in Guangzhou Evergrande where he is used as a midfielder.
Since 2012 Qin Sheng has been capped 6 times for the China national football team.
