Qu Cheng is a Chinese striker who currently defends the colours of Jiangsu Sainty. He was born on February 8, 1989 in China.
He commenced his senior career with Jiangsu Sainty in 2009. The coach regarded him predominantly as a back-up option and didn’t give him much playing time. Thus, in 2010 the young marksman embarked on a loan spell at Indonesian side Persipura Jayapura. He made his first professional bow on March 13, 2010 in the league tie against PSPS Pekanbaru. Soon he notched his maiden goal. In general, Qu Cheng enjoyed an excellent loan spell, starting 7 matches and netting 3 goals. Heading back to China, the towering striker was again plonked on the bench by his manager.
