Rashad Sadiqov. Biography

Rashad Sadiqov is an Azerbaijani midfielder born on 8 October 1983 in Nakhchivan.

Rashad started out his professional career with Shafa Baku in 2000. However, his career really picked up steam in 2003 when he joined Azerbaijani giants Neftchi Baku. Sadiqov spent five fruitful seasons at the club, apart from the 2004/05 season out on loan at MOIK Baku. In 2009, he moved to FK Qarabağ and made a great total of 94 appearances for the club until 2012. In the 2012/13 season, Sadiqov returned to Neftchi and plays there till the date.

Rashad Sadiqov came up through the different youth levels of the Azerbaijan national team. Since 2006, he is capped to the senior Azerbaijani side.
