Reda Johnson is a defender, born on 21 March 1988 in Marseille, France.
In 2005, Reda penned his first professional contract with local Gueugnon, but failed to make any appearances for the club during two seasons. In 2007, the footballer accepted the offer of Amiens and transferred to the new team, where he took part in 15 games and drew the attention of Plymouth Argyle scouts. ‘The Pilgrims’ lodged a tempting bid for Johnson and secured his services in 2009. The defender netted two goals in 42 matches for the club during two years and got a chance to seal a deal with more prestigious Sheffield Wednesday.
In 2011, Reda put pen to paper of a contract with ‘The Owls’ and became the pivot, who amassed 19 goals in 87 fixtures for the team. In the summer 2014 he switched for Coventry City.
From 2009, the footballer has been capped nine times for the Benin national squad.
