Ricardo Álvarez is an attacking midfielder for Internazionale. He was born on 12 April 1988 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Ricardo’s youth career started in 2005 after he joined Boca Juniors youth academy. He studied there for only a year until switching to Vélez Sársfield academy where he became one of the best students due to his flashy attacking style of play. Álvarez played with the club’s youth team for 2 years until finally he was offered to join Vélez Sársfield first squad.
In 2008 Ricardo accepted the offer and signed the first professional contract in his career. From 2008 to 2011 Álvarez periodically appeared in the club’s starting lineup.
