Robert Huth is a centre back of Stoke City. He was born on 18 August 1984 in Biesdorf, Germany.
Robert went in for football when a child. His first club was VfB Fortuna Biesdorf, from where he moved to Union Berlin in 2000. After a successful season, English side Chelsea won the footballer over to their academy, where he spent a year before joining the main team. In 2006 Huth penned a lucrative five-year contract with Middlesbrough, but he did not stay in the new club that long and tied up a deal with Stoke City in 2009.
From 2004 till 2009, Robert was capped 19 times and contributed two goals for the Germany national team.
Huth is a twice Premier League champion (2005 and 2006).
