Robert Koren is a midfielder, born on 20 September 1980 in Radlje ob Dravi, Slovenia.
From 1996 till 2001, Robert netted 17 goals in 129 fixtures for Dravograd and transferred to Celj, because his previous club was relegated to the second division. The footballer made 78 appearances and fired 22 goals for the team during three years.
In 2004, Koren completed a move to Norwegian side Lillestrøm, where he took part in 75 games and found the net 19 times during three years. In 2007, the midfielder sealed a deal with West Bromwich Albion and scored 16 goals in 129 matches for ‘The Baggies’ during three years.
In 2010, Robert signed for Hull City on a free transfer and amassed 28 goals in 143 fixtures for ‘The Tigers’ during four seasons. In the summer 2014 he switched for Melbourne City.
From 2003 till 2012, the footballer was capped 61 times and contributed five goals for the Slovenia national squad.
