Robin Knoche is a German footballer born on 22 May 1992 in Braunschweig.
Unlike his countrymen, Robin began his football grooming not in hometown Eintracht Braunschweig but at TSV Germania Lamme. He spent 6 years there and, frankly speaking, was a player of average abilities. In 2002 he moved to SV Olympia 92 Braunschweig, which was going through a bad stretch then. Nevertheless, it was Olympia where Knoche brought out his full potential.
Professional football for Knoche is linked with VfL Wolfsburg. He started as reserve squad player in 2005, amassing 42 appearances in total. For the time being, he featured only once for the first team of the Wolves in a match against Borussia Mönchengladbach. He was considered then too young to perform in starting eleven and was got back to reserve. But in order to stimulate a youngster to develop his skills and abilities, VfL Wolfsburg management signed a three-year contract with Knoche which runs until 30 June 2015.
For now Robin Knoche doesn’t have any national honours. He wasn’t even called up to youth national teams.
