Rodolfo Bodipo Díaz is a former striker. His father is from Equatorial Guinea and mother is from Spain and Bodipo represents Equatorial Guinea internationally.
He was born in 1977 in Dos Hermanas, Spain, and started his professional playing career with CD Isla Cristina, then Bodipo played for Recreativo de Huelva, Racing de Santander and Deportivo Alavés, helping the latest two to La Liga promotion. The 2004/05 season with Deportivo Alavés was the most prolific as he appeared in 39 games and scored 16 goals.
The 2006/07 season Bodipo joined Deportivo de La Coruña but within his first two seasons he wasn’t the first-choice as he suffered injuries. The 2008/09 season he helped Deportivo with three goals: one he scored against AS Nancy in the group stage of UEFA Cup, another one in a 2–1 success over Getafe CF.
The season 2009/10 wasn’t fortunate for Rodolfo Bodipo as he featured in 15 games, not scoring a goal and in 2010 he was loaned to a Romanian side FC Vaslui, where he stayed for a month and then returned to Spain, where he joined Elche CF.
In 2013 he was released from Deportivo.
