Romain Genevois. Biography

Romain Genevois is a Haitian defender currently playing for OGC Nice in the French Ligue 1. He was born on 28 October 1987 in L’Hestère, Haiti.

Romain was formed in the youth ranks of the French side FC Gueugnon in between 2000 and 2006. In 2006 he was called into the first team of the club. In 2009, Genevois moved to Tours FC where he made a total of 100 league appearances during a three-year stint. In 2012, the Haitian defender joined Nice and plays for the top-flight club today.

Romain Genevois was awarded his first cap to the Haiti national team in a friendly match against Venezuela in February 2008.
