Rubén Iván Martínez Andrade, or simply Rubén, is a Spanish goalkeeper of Rayo Vallecano.
He started his football path in 1997 when he joined the youth ranks of Barcelona. Five years later he became a reserve team player. In the 2004/05 season Rubén became an official third choice behind Victor Valdés and Albert Jorquera.
In 2008, the footballer joined Cartagena in the third division where he played 76 matches during a two-year stint at the club.
In August 2010, Rubén was purchased by Málaga for a €1.35 million fee. His debut came in the first official game of the club against Getafe where his side won 2-1. At the end of December he was seriously injured having broken his wrist. This trauma drove him out of play for the rest of the campaign urging his side to sign another keeper.
In the summer of 2012 Rubén Iván Martínez Andrade was loaned to Rayo Vallecano and one season later joined the club on permanent basis.
