Sam Hoskins is a striker of Yeovil Town. He was born on 4 February 1993 in Dorchester, England.
In 1999 Sam joined the academy of Oakwood Rangers, where he trained during six years. Those years became the most important for the footballer, because he learned and gained his first experience from the performance for various youth teams. In 2005 the management of Southampton took an interest in Hoskins and offered him a move to their youth system. Sam was glad to get such a qualitative leap and accepted the offer of the new club. It took the footballer a bit more time to graduate than to others, because the level of his previous academy was not very high. That is why Hoskins trained during six years and ended his junior career in 2011.
In 2011 Sam penned his first senior contract with the club, but did not make any appearances. The footballer was sent on loan to Preston North End for the first half of the 2011/2012 season, but failed to feature in any games as well. Hoskins went on loan to Rotherham United for the second half of the season and was lucky to find the net two times in eight games for the temporary team. After another loan spell with Stevenage Hoskins finally signed a contract with Yeovil Town in June 2013.
