Sander Duits is a midfielder of RKC Waalwijk. He was born on 29 August 1983 in Putten, Netherlands.
Duits’s youth career took off in local SDCP, from where the footballer moved to the academy of Vitesse.
In 1999, Sander joined the youth system of De Graafschap and trained there till he was offered to pen a professional four-year contract with the club in 2002. The midfielder started to make occasional appearances and gain the head coach’s confidence, which resulted in the management’s decision to give him more chances. Duits took part in 67 fixtures and netted five goals for De Graafschap during four years.
In the summer 2006, Omniworld secured Sander’s services and made him an anchor player of the team. The player amassed 32 goals in 132 matches for the new club during four seasons. After Duits left the club, the head coach said: ‘It’s a pity, but football is just like that’.
In 2010, the footballer transferred to RKC Waalwijk, which struggled for the promotion to the Eredivisie, and helped his new team to achieve that goal.
