Saša Ilić is a midfielder of Partizan. He was born on 30 December 1977 in Požarevac, Serbia.
Saša’s professional career took off in Partizan in 1996, when the footballer graduated from the academy of the club and started to perform for the main squad.
Ilić showed stunning performance at once and became a regular, who amassed 101 goals in 200 matches for ‘The Black & Whites’ during nine seasons.
In 2005, the midfielder sealed a deal with Turkish side Galatasaray and netted 22 goals in 59 fixtures for the club during two years. In 2007, he completed a move to Red Bull Salzburg, but failed to become a pivot and kicked eight goals in 34 games during three seasons.
In 2010, Saša returned to his boyhood Partizan and found the net ten times in 76 appearances for the team as of February 2013.
From 2000 till 2008, the footballer was capped 37 times and contributed four goals for the Serbia national squad.
