Sascha Burchert. Biography

Sascha Burchert is a footballer from Germany, born in 1989. He currently plays for Hertha BSC as a goalkeeper. He spent his youth playing career at Wartenberger SV and in 2002 joined Hertha BSC. After graduation he went on playing for the club’s reserves and then joined the first team.

On 17 September 2009 Burchert made his first appearance for Hertha BSC in the game against Ventspils and on 20 September 2009 he made his Bundesliga debut in the match against SC Freiburg, which ended in a 0-0 loss. His second match was a misfortune as he was used to replace the keeper, but left his line and missed two goals netted by Hamburg players. As a result the match was a 1-3 loss.
