Scott Loach is a goalkeeper, born on 27 May 1988 in Nottingham, England.
In 1997, Scott became a trainee of Ipswich Town academy, where he spent first three years of the junior career and developed his goalkeeping skills to the basic level. In 2000, the footballer moved to the youth system of Nottingham Forrest, but did not stay with the new club for long. From 2002 till 2006, Loach performed for the junior squads of Southwell United and Lincoln City.
In 2006, the goalie penned his first professional contract with Watford, but was sent on loan to Stafford Rangers after half a year with ‘The Hornets’. Scott made 11 appearances for the team during his spell and sealed a temporary deal first with Morecambe, then with Bradford City, where he took part in 22 matches in total.
After returning to his parent Watford, the footballer gained the head coach’s confidence and started to get more playing practice. He featured in 154 games for the club during six years and put pen to paper of a contract with Ipswich Town in July 2012.
After two years, Loach moved to Rotherham United.
From 2009 till 2011, Loach was capped 14 times for the England national U-21 squad.
