Scott Wiseman is a defender, born on 13 December 1985 in Kingston upon Hull, England.
Scott spent his youth career in the academy of Hull City, where he managed to get ready for a professional start and gave the last touch to taking his skills to the higher level. In 2003, the footballer penned his first senior contract with ‘The Tigers’ and joined the main squad, but his performance for the club was far from the best possible, because he was mainly used as a sub and given little playing time. In 2005, Wiseman went on loan to Boston United and made two appearances for the team during his spell. In 2006, he sealed a temporary deal with Rotherham United and netted one goal in 18 fixtures for the club during the first half of the 2006/2007 season. In March 2007, the defender completed a loan move to Darlington and took part in ten games before putting pen to paper of a permanent contract with ‘The Quakers’. However, after making seven appearances for the new club, Scott moved to Rochdale, where he became the pivot and fired one goal in 103 matches during three years.
In the summer 2011, Barnsley secured the footballer’s services on a long-term deal and saw him score one goal in 94 fixtures. Later on he moved to Preston North End.
