A French footballer Sébastien Roudet plays in the position of left midfielder for FC Sochaux-Montbéliard.
The player’s senior career started in 1998 at LB Châteauroux from Ligue 2. He made his Ligue 2 debut on 7 November 1998 in the match against Nîmes Olympique. In 2004 the team reached the Coupe de France final but unfortunately lost to Paris Saint-Germain FC.
In the same year Sébastien moved to OGC Nice playing in Ligue 1. He scored his first goal in Ligue 1 game against Lyon on 7 August 2004. On 28 August 2004 he netted his second goal against SC Bastia from Ligue 1. In 2006 Roudet along with the club reached the French League Cup final but suffered a loss at AS Nancy.
In 2006 the midfielder began to play for Valenciennes FC. His debut for the club occurred on 9 September 2006 during the match against RC Lens. The player represented Valenciennes for two seasons. Over that period he managed to participate in 60 matches and score 8 goals.
In 2008 Sébastien joined RC Lens from Division 2. In 2011 he agreed on a three-year deal with Sochaux.
