Sergio Claudio dos Santos, commonly known as Serginho, is a Brazilian former footballer born on 27 June 1971 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
At his early days, Serginho played for such Brazilian clubs as Itaperuna, Bahia, Flamengo, Cruzeiro and São Paulo. But in 1999 his strong performances sparked interest of the giant Italian side Milan. Serginho shortly established himself as a regular in the starting lineup and helped his team to win the Italian Cup in 2003 and Serie A title in 2004. He was an instrumental figure in the UEFA competitions as his team won the Champions League in 2003 and 2007. Overall, Serginho made 185 league appearances for Milan during a nine-year stint.
In between 1998 and 2001, Serginho earned 10 caps to the Brazil national team.
