Stanton Fredericks (often nicknamed “Stiga”) is a South African football player. He was born on 13 June 1978 in Johannesburg. The midfielder started his career in Wits University in 1995 and spent at the club six years playing in115 matches.
In 2000 Fredericks joined Grasshopper Club Zürich for a season. Later the South African signed a deal with Kaizer Chiefs where he spent 3 seasons appearing in 79 matches and netting 10 goals. In 2004 the player went to FC Moscow, yet during a two-year spell at the club Fredericks played only in 13 games. After short spells in Orlando Pirates and Supersport United the midfielder signed a contract with Pierikos F.C.
In 2010 Fredericks joined Bidvest Wits.
