Stephen Hunt is a winger born on 1 August 1981 in Portlaoise, Ireland.
Stephen’s professional career took off in Crystal Palace, where the footballer made three appearances during one year and a half.
In 2001, Hunt completed a one-year move to Brentford and netted four goals in 38 fixtures for the team during his spell. The footballer managed to cement a regular place in the first squad and become an anchor midfielder, which helped him to find the net 17 times in 156 matches for ‘The Royals’ before his move to Hull City in the summer 2009.
Hunt fired six goals in 27 fixtures for the new club during one season and sealed a deal with Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he took part in 56 matches and went on to net seven times.
In November 2013 Hunt signed for Ipswich Town.
From 2007, the winger has been capped 39 times and contributed one goal for the Republic of Ireland national squad.
