Steven Roy Caulker is an English defender born on 29 December 1991 in London, England.
Steven was groomed at Tottenham Hotspur youth system in between 2007 and 2009. At the beginning of his senior career in 2009, the Spurs loaned a promising young player to Football League One side Yeovil Town where he announced himself to the English football making 44 impressive appearances for the temporary club. In the 2010/11 season, Caulker played on loan at Bristol City. It was to his immense credit that the club escaped relegation and Caulker was even awarded the Young Player of the Month title in November.
In the summer 2011, a crafty defender was scheduled for another loan, this time to Swansea City newly promoted to the Premier League. Caulker made his Swansea debut as a starter in a 0-4 defeat to Manchester City and remained on the pitch the full 90 minutes.
In July 2012, he returned to the Spurs and was warming the bench at the start of the season. Caulker made his European debut for the club in the UEFA Europa League match against Lazio. On 7 October 2012, the English player scored his maiden goal for Tottenham in a 2-0 win over Aston Villa.
Having played only 18 matches for the Spurs Caulker completed a move to newly promoted Premier League side Cardiff City in the summer 2013. Once the club was relegated to the Championship, Caulker switched for QPR in the summer 2014.
In the 2009/10 season, Steven Caulker earned 11 international caps to the England U19 team. From 2010 to 2013 he was called up to the U21 team. In 2012 Caulker received his debut call-up to The Three Lions.
