Svetoslav Todorov is a retired Bulgarian striker. He was born on August 30, 1978 in Dobrich, Bulgaria.
Svetoslav began his senior career at Dobrudzha Dobrich, later moving to Litex Lovech in 1997. He made 70 appearances and scored 34 goals during his 1997-2001 spell at the club.
In 2001 Todorov was transferred to West Ham United for a fee of £0.5 million. In 2002 he moved to Portsmouth and joined Harry Redknapp, the former coach at West Ham. From 2002 to 2007 Todorov made 77 league appearances and scored 68 goals. Thanks to his goal scoring abilities, Portsmouth entitled the 2001/2003 Football League First Division and gained a promotion to the Premier League. Svetoslav also enjoyed a short loan spell at Wigan Athletic in the 2006/2007 season.
In 2007 Todorov signed for Charlton Athletic, where he featured in 20 matches and scored 3 goals during his 2007-2009 stay at the club. In 2009 Svetoslav returned to Litex Lovech. He netted 20 goals in 56 games from 2009 to 2012. In 2012 the striker switched to Hoverla, signing a one-year deal with the Ukrainian club.
From 1998 to 2007 Todorov was called up to the Bulgaria national team for 41 international games and scored 7 goals for the squad.
