Tang Dechao

Tang Dechao was born on 9 February 1985 in Guangzhou, China. Tang was a product of Guangzhou’s youth academy. He got through all the stages of training. From 2002 the young footballer featured for different youth squads of the club.

The player’s senior career started in 2002 when he signed for Xiangxue Pharmaceutical. In 2004 Tang joined Sunray Cave where he scored 3 goals in 21 matches. In 2005 the player moved to Guangzhou Evergrande. A high level of competition didn’t allow the young defender to get into the first team immediately. In the beginning he was utilized as a substitute. In the course of time the player gained prestige among his club-mates.

At present Tang Dechao continues his career in Guangzhou Evergrande as a defender. He has already made more than 70 appearances for this club and has scored 6 goals.

Tang won the China League One title in 2007 and 2010 and the Chinese Super League title in 2011 together with his club. In 2012 the footballer won the Chinese FA Super Cup.
