Teemu Pukki is a forward of the Finland national team and German side Schalke 04. He was born in Kotka, Finland.
In the winter 2008 Spanish side Sevilla welcomed Pukki into the fold after he left his native KooTeePee and signed for the new team on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
However, Teemu made only one appearance for the main team. On 25 January 2009, the footballer’s club played against Racing de Santander. The striker mainly used to perform for the Sevilla Atlético, which is the reserve team of Sevilla, took part in 32 games and netted three goals.
In August 2010 Pukki returned to Finland by transferring to Helsinki side HJK. On 22 June 2011, the striker showed an outstanding performance and made a hat trick in the match against Turun Palloseura.
Teemu got acquainted with Schalke 04 during the 2011/2012 Europa League qualifying match, where he went on to net thrice. However, the Finnish team failed to make its way through to the group stage.
On 31 August 2011, Pukki signed a three-year contract with Schalke 04. In 2013 the forward signed for Scottish champions Celtic.
The striker’s début for the Finland national team came on 4 February 2009, when he came on as a substitute for Jari Litmanen in the 67th minute of the match against Japan.
