Thomas Kessler is a footballer from Germany, born in 1986. Currently he plays for 1. FC Köln.

Kessler began to play football at Grün-Weiß Brauweiler and then joined the academy of 1. FC Köln. Having graduated he remained in the club playing for the reserves and on 13 May 2007 he made his debut for the first team in the match against Kickers Offenbach. In 2010/11 he was sent to FC St. Pauli on a loan deal and after that he was loaned to Eintracht Frankfurt. In the summer of 2012 he returned to 1. FC Köln.

Thomas Kessler was called up to represent the Germany youth teams at U16, U17 and U18 levels.
